Too long, too long, it's just been too long!
Ok so it's been way too long since I wrote anything on here! What can I say, life with two kids has definitely gotten the best of me, (which in my book is fine because my family should get the best of me). But I've neglected you all long enough now. I know you've all been just dying to read a new blog from your good old friend MarkDaDrumma! I know it keeps you up at night with your minds racing! That question! That awful soul twisting question! It's just eating you alive! "WHAT IS GOING ON IN MARK'S LIFE RIGHT NOW!?!"
Well let me paint the picture for; yesterday I went to get a haircut. When the girl finished cutting my hair she handed me a small mirror to look into while the really big mirror was behind me, so I could see the back of my head. I asked immediately if I had a bald spot yet. She asked, "why would you have a bald spot?" I said, "well I turned 30 this year, finally had to get glasses, had a second kid and recently purchased a mini-van. A bald spot is the next step right?"

Now how did you know we were dying to hear the latest from you?? Great intuition. Glad to hear all is well with you and your family, AND that you have no bald spot!!
Hey Mark can you tell me what time of day Nathaniel was born?
Take care,
Angie
While the lack of a blog from you wasnt keeping me up late at night its good to hear an update from "Markdadrumma." And its perfectly fine that the fam is taking up time-just the way it should be! :)
Yay! New post! It's good to hear from our good old friend!

LOL! That's funny. :P
But it's good that you have no bald spot yet, and that you were able to wait until you were 30 to get glasses. I got mine when I was 14...
Mark, Mark, Mark.
cute 2nd baby by the way....
and 30 is not old(denoting the bald spot thing)-
you're just becoming an awesome dad!
God Bless.

Hey Mark, thanks for the update, way overdue but you're excuse. Glad that you're enjoying precious time with the family, that's very very important. BTW, love the pic of the serious older dad with his boys, lol. Nathaniel & Ben are very handsome, please post more pics...
Going to be 30, you're over the hill now, lol
Much love to you, your family and the rest of the guys.
Be blessed!
Mark - The glasses look great, the kids are adorable, and I'm sure you're an outstanding dad!
You & the other SR guys impressed Craig & I back when we met you as teenagers, and you've all grown into incredible young men! Yes, I said young! :o)
It's good to know you've had time to spend with your family! Enjoy it every chance you get - they grow up quickly!
Hugs to you & the family,
Lisa M
HAHAHA old man! I'm right behind you though... 30 is fast approaching for me too and I do have glasses. Although I swore to Paul that we will never get a minivan!
That's what I was thinking on my blog too. I hadn't posted anything Since March 15th and it's June 5th today!!! Well, I finally did...
Congrats on Nathaniel! My youngest brother, Ryan, his middle name is Nathaniel :-)
Oh if it is any consolation...I turn the big 30 in November (6th) this year.
Stay blessed!
YAY! new blogarooney from our friend MarkDaDrumma!!! that's always a highlight of my day [or night.]
I love your updates & i'm glad you're alive & kicking and having a blast and a half being a dad to you two awesome boys!
I love the hair & glasses. you're not 30 years old..... 30 years YOUNG, is what YOU are.
i hope you stop in Virginia Beach/Norfolk or Williamsburg during your fall tour!!?
miss you boys!
Cherylyn!
just a random guy i am...but i couldn't help but note the irony that i was thinking your profile looked a little like Robin Williams...and then saw one of your favorite movies is "patch adams".....funny........"your a lot fuzzier than my last roomate"....-andy
Oh that picture of Ben and Nathaniel is so cute! It's early brotherly-love!
I'm laughing at the bald spot comment though...don't worry, that happens about five years from now =P But at least you had to wait until now for glasses, beats getting them at age 15, that's for sure!

Hi Mark
It was so nice seeing you at Creation. Thanks so much for showing me the pics of Ben & Nathaniel from your cell. They are adorable, I specially like the one of Nathaniel yawning :)
Anyways, if I don't get to see you before the We Need Each other tour in Sept - have a wonderful summer.
Be blessed!
Mark, its been awhile since you blogged..we miss you. :)
Well, Don't worry about getting blogs out regularly. Some of us are never meant to journal our lives away. God will tell you when it is best to post something new. It is great to see how far you have come. I met you guys in Cedar Rapids, IA several years back and got to sit down to supper with you all. It is still one of my favorite memories just knowing how down to earth you all are. Nathaniel looks beautiful. he is 9 days older than my little girl Esther and I got blessed with am emergency c-section too so your wife is in my prayers.
God Bless you all,
KIM
